I am an unwitting sojourner hurdling through space & time desperately trying to discern purpose, meaning, and truth.  I am also a husband, father, son, brother, and engineer.  My superpowers include mechanical aptitude, deep focus, and reflective rumination which make me adept at coming up with creative solutions and able to fix almost any broken thing.  I enjoy the solitude of Michigan's wild areas be it wading in a trout stream, camping under the stars, or siting in a tree with bow in hand for hours upon end.  I enjoy esoteric hobbies like flint knapping and reading books by great thinkers like C.S. Lewis.  Simple things bring me joy like a really great cup of coffee, the colors of autumn around Lake Superior, or the smell of a campfire.
